Greetings, I'm a student at the George Washington
University.
I was
looking for some dance claases/dance clubs online today and
I saw your web site. I was so impressed with your work and
performance. I loved the ”Persian Ballet” web site. I think
it is wonderful. I have a great passion for dancing, and I
always wanted to do something like that.
I read
the article that you wrote ”Persian dance and its forgotten
history”. ” By virtue of these bases, Iran can be considered
as one of the ancient world’s empires, which methodically
and actively was devoted to the development of the art of
dance. For this ancient nation, dancing has been an
important social phenomenon and a religious ritual.” I
completely agreed with you on that. Civilization started in
Iran. But nowadays, people of other countries show no
respect for Iran and Iranians.
I
myself wrote a paper about Iran and its great history and
how non-Iranians should not disrespect [or forget] our
culture just because of the current government in Iran. When
I was doing my research, I was astonished to learn some
facts. One of them that was really interesting was about
wine. Wine was first made in Iran by Jamshid and it was by
accident.
I also
read that you know six languages. That is amazing! You know
it makes me feel great when I read about successful Persians
such as you. It just adds to my pride. I’m proud to be
Persian. |
