Zobeideh, is united with her lover, the
Golden Slave, and the two join in a sensuous dance in the oriental
palace of Sultan Shahriar. |

Based on the Persian national epic
“Shahnameh of Ferdowsi” Kaveh is a heroic ballet about the
old blacksmith who led the rebellion of the people against
the tyranny of the evil king Zahhak.
His son Pour-Kaveh is arrested by
Zahhak's men, but Kaveh heroically frees
his son and other young prisoners by making a banner of his
apron and leading the uprising. |
